Demonstrates Educational Leadership: Getting Started with Commendation Criteria 33-35

This tutorial offers educational resources to help providers achieve compliance with Criteria 33-35 in the “Demonstrates Educational Leadership” category of the Menu of Criteria for Accreditation with Commendation.

The Commendation Criteria in the “Demonstrating Educational Leadership” category reward accredited providers that engage in research and scholarship, support the continuous professional development of their CME team, and demonstrate creativity and innovation in their CME programs.

Please note: The compliance examples describe approaches that would meet the expectations of the criteria; however, they may not include evidence of compliance with the measurement standards for each criterion.

Criterion 33: The provider engages in CME research and scholarship.

Criterion 34: The provider supports the continuous professional development of its CME team.

Criterion 35: The provider demonstrates creativity and innovation in the evolution of its CME program.
